Photoshop CS6 equips many new features and upgrades. But still at the time of giving presentations you will encounter problems in terms of speed, efficiency and performance. That is why I have mentioned the below 4 steps by following which you can improve the overall performance of your presentation and slideshows in front of your boss or anyone you want to show your Photoshop CS6 presentation to:

Adobe-Photoshop-CS6

Step#1: Regulate the Resolutions to the Lowest

If you are drawing an element, it is highly recommended to use the least resolution possible. Even if you are editing the images and preparing them for a slideshow, the same is recommended, since you may not know of what resolution the images will appear. Set a standard resolution for all the images or elements you are preparing for the presentation.

Step#2: Disable Animated Zoom and Flick Panning features

You may have many unnecessary features activated in Photoshop CS6 that you use rarely; disable them this instance. Two of those many unnecessary features are the ‘Animated Zoom’ and ‘Flick Panning’ (situated at the top). If you want performance and if you can make a bit of a compromise on the animations, disable these additional features. In order to disable the Animated Zoom feature, head over to the Preferences > General > Animated Zoom > Uncheck, and to disable the Flick Panning feature, go to the Preferences > General > Enabled Flick Panning > Uncheck.

Step#3: Remove/Purge the History and Clipboard from the menu bar

History and Clipboard features may be useful for some but at the same time they require a lot of disk space and thus directly affect on the performance of the program. Hence, it is recommended to clean the History and Clipboard data every week. Simply click on the Edit drop down menu at the top and select Purge and then click on “All”.
